Whats in your attic?

Just when I thought I had 95% of the house packed up and ready to move, I remembered the attic. Just finished hauling everything down from there and have started the process of sorting through it all. Most of it is Christmas decorations, but there’s quite a few boxes of old memories. It’s been a hoot looking through all of that old stuff. Drivers licenses from my youth, a few pics of ex’s that I missed when I burned the rest of them, knick-knacks from world travel, and lots and lots of junk.

So, let’s relate this to SEO. What’s in your site’s attic? Do you have old, outdated junk pages? Maybe you should delete them. Or, better yet, revamp them and bring them back to life. Maybe those old pages would rank well if you added some fresh content, and updated the optimization on them. We’re always going on and on about good content, but good content can be difficult to come up with. Perhaps you already have that content just sitting around in some dark corner of your site, and with a little dusting off, and polishing, it can be fresh, new content once again.

Ok, now I have to go back to the process of sorting through my real attic junk.

If you are the first to "discover" any of my posts in StumbleUpon, one of the following categories would probably be the most appropriate to place it into. You don't have to choose one of these, of course, but based on what I usually write about, there's a good chance any of my posts will fall into one of these categories.

Business * Computers * Computer Graphics * Computer Hardware * Computer Security * Databases * Ecommerce * Internet * Internet Tools * Linux/Unix * Marketing * Search * Self Improvement * Web development * Weblogs(Blogs) * Windows * Writing
