From an advertisers perspective, Yahoo has rolled out some very impressive changes to their targeted ad program. I have just finished reviewing the kit Yahoo! sent me and I must say I feel as though their new pay-per-click engine is innovative and makes a great deal of sense.

For the near future I am going to migrate clients that are bidding on Ad Sense terms into the new Yahoo! program and give it a test drive. It looks like they've done a great job overhauling a program that was troublesome at times.

Anyone else think Yahoo! is heading in the right direction with this?

And who can forget these other great quotes:

"Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated." -Whitegyr

"I know that when I put this raw hamburger in my mouth, the Google is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious...Ignorance is bliss." -Whitegyr

I'm very tired about all this Google dominating situation. I want to see new players in the search market that can be competitive and not just a second division player.

I always thought that when there is a monopoly in a sirten market, that market gets slowly worst.

I'm nott happy with Google anymore and I'm a Yahoo! supporter. We neeed fresh stuff.

When I have a free 25 minutes I'm going to write my 'open letter' to the Google AdSense team. The theme? An increasing lack of trust. Pages that I know for a fact cost advertisers dollars per click are only generating pennies per click for me. Revenue per click goes up when I pull ads off of portions of sites (there will be a crack dealer analogy here), and revenues always start high on the first few days of targeted ads on a new site, then drop (another crack dealer analogy here). There is not another business arrangement on the planet where a veil of secrecy this thick would be tolerated.
