Google gets negative press
by DazzlinDonna
The first two things I read this morning were basically anti-Google sentiments.
The first was from a Microsoft pundit who states “IMO, Google will not be satisfied until they can track what you do from the second you wake up in the morning until you go to bed, from what you look at on the Internet, to what you watch on TV, to what you listen to on the radio and in podcasts. And that’s why I call them an adware company… because they want to bombard you with ads, no matter what you’re doing.”
The second was from Techcrunch, calling out an easily missed announcement from Google and claims that Google has crossed a hazy ethical line, with the release of their text link format for PPA, allowing publishers to subtly embed ads right into hyperlinks within the main content of the site itself.
More and more these days, Google is getting negative press. It’s still only a trickle amongst the “any Google news is great news” media, but more and more anti-Google sentiment is creeping into the headlines. I’m not sure when the “jump the shark” moment occurred, but I believe at some point it did. Now is the time for competitors to attack.

They try to take a share out of of anything…! even if they are trying to do anything good (???).
I have a post, where you can see how they really act to make their actions look prettier.
And Goole is not the only one, if I may say so… You can see it here yourself
I believe you are correct.
Google is on the verge of becoming a “bad” company.
Look at wikipedia, look at craigslist.
They are all great because they are not in it for the money.
Google is a money monster and money monsters don’t have morals
I write about this also on my blog http://www.rockorb.com
I pm’d you on this one…with regard to one group of folks that are very pro google and you responded.
It will be interesting to see if mainstream press reactions cause some negative fall out. All I see off of different logs is growing google traffic and less from other engines.
