I need to print this out and hang it on the wall. Creativity is not a problem, however, distractability, boredom and lack of discipline are.

The nose to the grindstone get it done attitude is definitely something I struggle with when it comes to websites. Working through that stage between the rush of launching a site and the time when the big traffic comes is a daunting task for me. I really believe that separates the successful from the flash in the pan sites. Unfortunately I've had more of the latter than the former but I'm workin on it.

Creativity is a two stage process... sponge and splurge.

If you're not feeling that creative, you may just be in a sponge phase... try to grab a film, read a book, visit a gallery, that sort of thing.

Very nice post! I use almost the exact same technique when doing web design/development. Some of it takes creativity and some of it doesn't. When I don't have any creative juices flowing, I work on non creative stuff, and vica versa.

Just keep it moving forward. A few sprinkles/drops of creative juice can get you a long way most of the time.

"Just a drop will do ya!"
