Sidenote: What I’ve Been Up To
by DazzlinDonna
Some of you know that this is my busy season, but I’m still managing to find time to squeeze other things in. Just thought I’d share what a couple of those things are, and do a bit of shameless promotion while I’m at it.
First off, I’m a staff columnist for Personal Branding Magazine, and the new issue is coming out November 1st, just a little over a week from now. It’s going to be packed with articles (38 pages, 37 authors), and includes an interview with Philip Rosedale (Founder of Second Life), and more. Subscriptions are reasonably priced, and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society, so it’s good reading for a good cause.
Secondly, I’ve finally put together my first “for sale” ebook over on my other blog. It’s called In Your Pajamas, and it covers the whole process of making a living online, from home, in your pajamas. Like my entire DazzlinDonna blog, it’s aimed at a different audience than you and I. You might not learn anything new from it, but your sister, brother, aunt, mom, or cousin might. And while there’s almost nothing that can’t be learned for free online, having it all together in one place, nicely organized, is what makes it worthwhile, I think. In any case, worthwhile or not, it’s what I’ve been slaving over for a while now.
And finally, besides my normal blogging both here and on the DD blog, I also blog weekly over at BloggingTips (catch my posts on Saturday mornings).
Of course, my time has been mostly spent managing my sites during this hectic time of year. Because many of my sites are seasonal, and this is my “big” season, it’s imperative that I squeeze every penny possible out of these few months. Some of those pennies tide me over during the slow summer months. So far, this season is going well, (knock on wood), and I’ve learned a few things this time around too. I won’t share them here just yet, so I don’t jinx anything (LOL), but once this season is over, I’ll pass along a nugget or two that might be interesting.
If I’m unresponsive, or slow in responding to any communications over the next couple of months, please forgive me and be a tad bit patient with me. I’m trying hard to find enough time in each day to get to everything and everyone, but some things (like hanging out in forums) will be suffering some.
That’s it. Hope I don’t miss anything vital during the next couple of months. If I do, let me know, k?

Good luck with your busy season, we’ll miss you in the forums!
Thanks, Skittz!
