This is a guest post written by Dee Barizo. He was hired to blog at Net Business Blog in July this year. On this blog, he’s written a couple of posts about SEO.
Rob over at Business Pundit has an interesting post comparing Coca-Cola’s distribution channels with distribution channels for blogs. He writes how Coca-Cola was able to enter a competitive market, the bottled water market, because of the sheer size of their distribution channels. He writes:
At the time, Coca-Cola had (and may still have, I don’t know) distribution channels that reached wider and deeper and farther than any other company on…

Remember Jim Westergren told us all that he was getting out of our industry and into something he loved? Well, it looks like that dream is coming true. He sold his company, SEO Fusion, and all of its various assets (directory submission service, link building service, etc, etc) to Epiphany Solutions.
Jim - Much luck to you in your new writing career!
Epiphany - Good luck with your new acquisition!

If you, or your Mom, or your sister ever gets tired of hearing me discuss SEO, maybe you’d prefer to hear me discuss things beyond SEO instead. Yes, Virginia, there are topics beyond SEO. Remember when I mentioned the new SEO, SEM, PPC jobs portal, SEO Vacancies, a couple of weeks ago? Well, it now has an RSS feed, which is interesting because:
- Use the RSS feed on the homepage to be informed when employers or agencies post new vacancies to the site – this will list the latest jobs on the website as they are posted.
- Jobseekers can run searches to find the types of jobs they want (SEO, PPC etc) and then click the RSS feed on the results page. The feed will then send them matched vacancies as they are uploaded onto the site.…

Lately, I’ve been noticing that any search I do in Yahoo! produces a popup alert error that says, “Internal Error: result.childNodes[0].childNodes[0] has no properties”. For a while now, I assumed it was a Yahoo problem, but it looks like I was wrong about that. Searching for that error seems to indicate it is a result of the SEO for Firefox addon from Aaron’s SEObook tools. I’m not sure that’s true because disabling it didn’t seem to solve the problem, but maybe I have to reboot or something. Anyone out there know anything about this one? I’m getting tired of the…
