Landing Page Optimization Experiment Results

MarketingExperiments.com has just released their latest experiment results, this time showing how to improve conversion 50-60% by applying continuity and congruence to a landing page.

Note from me to them: Hey, Marketing Experiments people…may I suggest that you deal with the fact that you’ve got your home page linked to within your nav using index.php instead of just the root domain? Seriously, just a little SEO 101 there…no need to split up your link juice that way.

Oops, sorry, had to get that little bit of advice out of the way. But the experiment data is interesting and worth checking out. They also have lots of archived experiments with equally interesting results. So often, we fail to find actual test results in our online journeys, so it’s always nice to see a bit of proof laid out for us to see. Kudos to these marketers for sharing.

If you are the first to "discover" any of my posts in StumbleUpon, one of the following categories would probably be the most appropriate to place it into. You don't have to choose one of these, of course, but based on what I usually write about, there's a good chance any of my posts will fall into one of these categories.

Business * Computers * Computer Graphics * Computer Hardware * Computer Security * Databases * Ecommerce * Internet * Internet Tools * Linux/Unix * Marketing * Search * Self Improvement * Web development * Weblogs(Blogs) * Windows * Writing
