My Promised Feedback After Using Sproose For A Month
by DazzlinDonna
About a month ago I told you I would be using Sproose for a month, and I would let you know more of my thoughts after using it for a while. Now’s that time. So, how is Sproose as a search engine? It’s…ok. Not bad. Maybe even…good.
The biggest issue I’ve had with it is the occasional slowdown or page not loading. However, I use satellite to connect to the Internet, so I am never 100% sure if it’s a site that’s slow, or if it’s my connection that’s bad.
I still like the social voting concept, although I didn’t use that aspect of it all that often. I don’t really think Sproose has much of a chance to become a leading search engine, simply because almost no one has a chance at that. However, if one of the “biggies” decided to go the social route, it would be very, very interesting. I’m sure lots of people would scream and holler and call foul, but once the hullabaloo died down, (and it probably would as most things do), that engine just might make some big headway.
In any case, so far, I’ve been as satisfied with Sproose as any other search engine. That’s not such a bad thing to have said about you, I don’t think.

I’m still undecided if I like it or not. I think combining the search engine with the social features has my brain confused. But this very well may be the future of search engines.
Donna: After reading your review I went to sproose, registered, and evaluated a website with a review.
I was checking google serps for a non competitive long tail search for a phrase today and noticed the sproose site with the review as the currently 13th or 14th ranked site in google for that phrase.
Talk about a way to buttress and get rankings. LOL.
Now that is a reason to register on sproose.
Very interesting, earlpearl. Reviews and social profiles do tend to show up quite a bit, so they should all be utilized whenever possible.
