Taylor Pratt: Search Blogger of The Day
This is one of a series of posts in which I will be highlighting each member of the Search Bloggers list, with commentary on one of their posts (new or old). Look for this series to continue once or twice a week for the next couple of months.
Meet Taylor Pratt. He’s currently last on the Search Bloggers list because that’s how it worked out alphabetically. So I decided I would be different and promote the bloggers in the list in reverse order. Since this is the first Search Blogger of The Day post, I’ll give you a quick rundown of what it’s all about. I plan to highlight a post that I particularly enjoyed from each of the bloggers on the list, and share that with you. I’ll probably do this once or twice a week for the next couple of months, or until I’ve highlighted each of them. Who knows, maybe I’ll start over again when I’m done. We’ll see. But for now, let’s take a closer look at Taylor Pratt.
Taylor’s blog is Gonzo SEO, and the post I wanted to highlight is called 3 Unconventional Keyword Research Tools to Improve Conversions. I particularly liked this post because it steps away from the tools and numbers game for a moment, and focuses on the human side of keyword research. Numbers often lie…or at least muddy the waters a bit with unfocused colors. Despite the fact that I often use keyword research tools (and wouldn’t know what to do without them), Taylor’s advice is excellent - and it’s all about reaching beyond tools and talking to real live human beings. If you missed his post back when he wrote, now would be a good time to check it out. And if you read it back then, it never hurts to read it again as a refresher course.
Once you’ve read the post, if you want to know a little more about Taylor (in his own words), check out his about page here.
That’s the Search Blogger of the Day. If you are a search blogger, and aren’t on the list yet, go here to find out how to be included. I plan to promote everyone on the list in various ways. Some will be informative, and some will be just plain fun. Don’t miss out.
For just a $5 tip, you can advertise your site or affiliate link on SEO Scoop. Find out how.
If you are the first to "discover" any of my posts in StumbleUpon, one of the following categories would probably be the most appropriate to place it into. You don't have to choose one of these, of course, but based on what I usually write about, there's a good chance any of my posts will fall into one of these categories.

Wow, thanks for the kind words, Donna. I’ve been really neglecting my blog recently because it didn’t seem like anyone was listening. This is just the motivation I need to get back to work. Thanks again, I really appreciate it!
