SEO Scoop Moving Onwards And Upwards
If you are a regular reader of SearchEnginePeople’s blog (and you should be if you aren’t), you’ll notice that Jeff Quipp just let everyone know that SearchEnginePeople just acquired SEO Scoop from me. I’ll still be around, and I’ll still be posting, but SEO Scoop will have the opportunity to grow into something much bigger than I could do alone. I have complete confidence that Jeff and the entire SearchEnginePeople gang will do my baby proud.
Here’s a quote from Jeff:
The intent of this purchase is to expand on Donna’s significant efforts to date, and make SEO-Scoop one of the hubs for information in the search and social media industries … the HuffingtonPost of the search indsutry if you will. The vision is not yet fully flushed out, but a good number of industry personalities will be involved helping to mold and guide the future of the site (including Donna, who will continue to be a regular blogger by the way). Its also envisioned (as per Donna’s original initiative) that the site will give industry newbies the opportunity to post and create a name for themselves.
I hope you’ll stick around to watch SEO Scoop flourish under its new management. I know I’ll be having fun watching it grow.
For just a $5 tip, you can advertise your site or affiliate link on SEO Scoop. Find out how.
If you are the first to "discover" any of my posts in StumbleUpon, one of the following categories would probably be the most appropriate to place it into. You don't have to choose one of these, of course, but based on what I usually write about, there's a good chance any of my posts will fall into one of these categories.
Business * Computers * Computer Graphics * Computer Hardware * Computer Security * Databases * Ecommerce * Internet * Internet Tools * Linux/Unix * Marketing * Search * Self Improvement * Web development * Weblogs(Blogs) * Windows * Writing

Congrats on the sale!
Did you start SEO-Scoop with this in mind?
November 13th, 2008 at 10:16 am
@Tertius, LOL, no, when I started SEO Scoop nearly 5 years ago, I never even considered selling it. It was just a place to document seo tips and such, and give back to the community. Nothing more, nothing less.
