Now who’s the one inspiring link building efforts?! I’ve never thought of going about this and now I’ve got a client of mine implementing this tactic on their site. This should be a great way to pick up some longtail keyword traffic as well.

You are right, visitors are the best people to promote the content and get quality back links. The only thing needed is quality content on web site and some traffic.

This is proven technique that if some one gets some thing interesting over the internet he keeps talking about it within his circle or community and today social media sites are serving this purpose.

I think that this is the case with nearly everything. Provide value and people will spread the word, doing all the heavy lifting for you.

From a blogger’s perspective (to get links), it is far more valuable to write high-quality article that really helps people than 5 quick & mindless articles.

One idea that I’ve taken to heart is that if you make a concerted effort to solve a problem your visitors are having then those visitors will do some of the difficult work of actually spreading your link love around….
